International curricula
- Four-week intensive course for all students at the start of their exchange period on issues of social justice and human rights. In August 2004, the Summer Course will organised at the St. Thomas University in Frederiction.

- Enrollment of students in host universities during 9 months;
- Presentation by all students of their work in a one-week concluding meeting at the end of their academic year;

   
 

Organisational frameworks for student mobility
- Information brochure for all those participating;
- A four-week intensive course for all students at the start of their exchange period

Language and cultural preparation and assessment
- Trans-cultural orientation for all students before exchange experience begins;
- Hospitality events and (when requested) living arrangements with host families overseas;
- When necessary, second language training sessions for all students before their exchange starts.

   
 

Practicum placement
- Organising 2 month internships/practicum for all exchange students during their stay.

   
 

Faculty exchanges
- Meetings and seminars bring together faculty members and students from participating universities, and professionals from related (national and international) institutions;
- Faculty members are exchanged between participating EU and Canadian universities, to teach, to participate in the development of curricular resources, and to consult with academic and professional colleagues.

   
 

Web-based and computer-based technologies
- Providing access to e-resources;
- Designing this website, including setting up e-mail groups and a virtual class room
- Provinding useful links to external institutes, ngos, and governmental organisations related to the Globus theme .
